I love exploring beautiful places and the challenge of photographing them in ways that others will respond to and enjoy.
My love for landscape photography began in San Diego, California, where I grew up. I developed my photographic skills photographing places like Torrey Pines State Reserve, Mission Trails Regional Park, the Cuyamaca Mountains and the Anza Borrego Desert.
In 2003, I moved with my family to the Verde Valley in Arizona and began photographing the red rocks of Sedona and other areas of the Southwest. Here, I also made the switch to digital photography. I currently shoot with a 14-megapixel Kodak 14N, a variety of lenses and an old Gitzo tripod. My young assistant, Miranda Rose, often helps me scout new locations, and is an endless source of inspiration and motivation.
